Oh, equality this—equality that—if there’s one term that’s been over-exposed, abused and used and contused—it’s eeequaality.  So let’s add to the pot shall we?

We got to thinkin.’  Music  serves as such inspiration in so many areas of our lives.  There’s let’s see now—dancefloor music, and then there’s heart ache music, then of course foreplay music, and unfortunately alarm clock music. Also down in these parts we have what we call drive-by shooter music.  But darn it why can’t music serve as inspiration for equality, too?

Now, there have been a few songs and indie artists who have attempted to do that and ahhh—well—-No.   We’re kinda thinkin’ in terms stuff that we don’t find embarrassing when we hear it and well—actually want to remember.  Ya know,  a tune or two that gets your blood pumpin and the emotions flowin’.  So we here at RENWL have decided to construct a playlist of inspirational tunes for EQUALITY.

So here we are!  We’re so giddy  and breathless about this li’l compilation that we’ve created on the fly we’re practically hyperventilating.  Here’s RENWLs Top 10 Equality tracks (unless Beyonce comes out with somethin’ punchy in the near future) that make us git up to git down for equality—or get choked up—-sometimes both.

Isn’t this list beautiful? Don’t you see? Any music can be equality music.  Oh the joy and freedom of listening to Snoop Dog while fantasizing about one’s civil rights.  Or, maybe a little Babs croonin’ People after din din for some tearful dishwashing while we brainstorm for creative civil disobedience tactics.  Equality is so diverse when it comes to various melodies and taste—there’s really just no end!

So you see—you too can enjoy the vast  and endless repertoire of equality music whoever you are.  Just stick a song in the old iPod and with a little imagination and vision—presto. You’re on your way to a euphoric emotional soundtrack of equality and marriage rights for all.  If there’s a favorite song here you share with us that conjures up visions of your  future same-sex or hetero wedding day even, oh please speak up.  We’d love to hear about it.
