Don Imus Supports Gays Getting Married: As Long As They’re Not Nappy Headed Hoes
Don Imus, the infamous shock jock who was fired by CBS in 2007 for his “nappy-headed hoes” reference to the Rutgers University women’s basketball team, threw yet another curve ball today on his Fox TV show Imus In The Morning. In a phone interview with Prop 8 trial plaintiff’s attorney David Boies, the controversial talk show host shared that he too, felt gays should be allowed to marry as long as their heterosexual counterparts do.
Imus jokingly followed that statement up with, “let them be as unhappy as anybody”. It just goes to show sometimes you never know who your friends are—–at least in some respects.
