Video: Shirley Sherrod Says “Special Position” Offered By Vislack Is Bogus; Plans To Sue Breitbart

On Thursday former Agriculture Department employee Shirley Sherrod was the featured speaker at the National Association Black Journalists (NABJ) convention held in San Diego. Sherrod, 62, answered questions put to her by a panel as several hundred journalists and dozens of news organizations looked on at the 35th annual NABJ convention, which is being held in San Diego through Sunday.
On Breitbart she said and does not want an apology from him. “I don’t want it at this point, and he will definitely hear from me,” Sherrod said. She did not give specifics on when she plans to file a lawsuit, but she did say she has spoken with an attorney.
In addition to sharing her thoughts on the Administration in which stated that she felt the President and Department of Agriculture needed more black advisors that too many continuing racial problems have been “pushed under the rug.”
“If we try to get a job in these companies and larger media organizations and think we just have to be like them” in avoiding racial discussions, we’re contributing to the problems that led to “situations like this,” Sherrod said.
Okay. Now let’s get to the good part. And curiously enough, NO ONE has picked up on this. So look at the following as an exclusive.
In the video below Sherrod is asked about the position she was offered Dept. of Agriculture Secretary Vislack; if you all remember he offered her a “special position” as part of his apology for jumping the gun before it was revealed that the video that first circulated around was doctored.
Right around (2:30) in this video of you want to fast forward is where she drops the bomb about her opinions on this job offer. Ha hooo! One thing we’ll say about Mrs. Sherrod, momma does not mince words!
PS. By the way, Fox News lied. Remember when they said they didn’t run the story on Breitbart’s video of Sherrod before she was fired? Yea, well, read the story in the link at the end of this post about that. (Shaking head…).
